I just can’t keep it to myself anymore!...........
I’ve been shut away in my studio for the some time now, writing songs and developing music and lyrics. This was all being crammed into spare time, so when the recession forced my design firm to reduce back to just me again, I found myself with time - a fair amount of time, and some of it even during daylight hours!
Anyway, the result is that I have been able to pull some of the many tracks and grooves into shape, to the point where I am happy to let go of them (for the time being), and allow them to be heard outside of the studio. Some of the songs have just been entered into the 2010 UK Songwriting Contest so watch this space for news on progress!
Although some very talented friends and acquaintances have contributed in part to some of the tracks, I have arranged, played and programmed all the backing tracks myself. However, the key area that was really lacking was the vocals. Therefore, through the course of 2009 I began to work with some talented and enthusiastic vocalists, who breathed life into my music, resulting in the demos now available for you to have a listen – or just click the Music menu item.
